So, the temperatures are dropping here in Colorado, and its snowing in the high country already.

I was forced to run on the rat-cage at the gym instead of my favorite lakes.

-----------

Then, upon returning home I did my civic duty and voted - twice (can I have a lapel sticker please).
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22087628/

-----------

A quick check on the anti-poly follies, and I see a thread by a new user called "Colorado," who appears to be a youth compelled to take a polygraph by a suspicious parent (you can't take those parents anywhere, can ya).

This is interesting, because I was contacted three days ago by the father of two teenage children (son and daugher), concerned about the theft of some items from the mother and requesting a polygraph. The father indicated they strongly suspect the daughter, but also "strongly suspect [their] teenage son was present in the house with her that night." Which I can see as an obvious concern, because clearly the son should have been out bangin' with his friends and not present at home.

GM has advised "Colorado" (presumbably the daughter, because the parents wanted to start by testing the sister) thoroughly on understanding the relevant, comparison and irrelevant questions. GM also cautioned the "Colorado" user about manipulated breathing causing suspicious about CMs, the value of the "complete honesty" approach where one informs the examiner that one has read the anti-poly e-book, and further advises to refuse to sign the consent.

Another new user named "Aldrich Ames" advises to question the examiner about why use the polygraph is not admissible in court if its so accurate.

So, I'm having a difficult time exercising restraint, and not logging on to politely request that "Colorado" please inform us afterward how it went.

Peace,

Let's take this slow. Ray, rather than you (as yourself) recommending follow-up, perhaps someone else should do so. It being your case, you should write here what you want and direct a third party to post it. If played like chess, this could be interesting---although it is really too bad that we are talking about a kid(s) here----so extra caution is the obvious first step. Second, this is your practice---a precious entity. A perfect plan is paramount.

And lastly, I am looking forward to meeting Jim in downtwn Gary, Indiana this Friday night. I hope he rents say....a late model Toyota Camry with rims.

Sorry,

I should have clarified - its not my case.

I don't take self-referrals. Parent referral is a self referral.

I conduct exams only for professionals who request them. If there were an investigation, therapist, or even an attorney, then I might have taken the case.

If this were my case, I wouldn't be here with these details.

I view self-referrals as a loaded gun with no safety. I would not hand that gun to an angry and suspicious husband or parent.

Polygraph results are for professional consumption only.

Right now (FRI 7PM/UT) there are 245 visitors on AP! Could there really be that many people on that site on a FRI night? Taylor

I am taking a short break from anti. I smell danger, and I can't put my finger on it. I log in without cookies for peeks though.
I love it when you guys represent, and welcome back Donna!
Barry and Ray are sharp as razors----a truly menacing combo for any pseudo-intellectual who tries to sling lingo.

stat,

I agree something feels hazardous right now.

The personality-less Lethe is back, after an interesting absence following the outing. Only this time he has a sarcastic edge. I suspected before that Lethe was perhaps one of GM's or another user's alters, but the response to the dead-thread, may be an indicator of a genuine absence.

Thanks Donna for pointing out the completely irrational and anger-laden rant about cops just wanting a quick arrest so they can go get donuts. We should remember this posting, and use it later to ridicule Lethe.

Donna, if you haven't done so already, would you edit your post to include a quote of Lethe's rant. That way there will be no re-editing of his position during some more sober moment.

Actually, there are some new, angry, and dramatic users at anti. One user "stoppoly..." seems to me to be exceedingly dramatic and not credible. I cannot perceive of any experienced (17 years?) LEO engaging in the discussions at anti in the way this user has.

SanchoPanza is slugging it out admirably with the "sarge." and provided an excellent commentary.

Nonombre made an appearance to provide a well-timed and bit of objective commentary on GM's response to the myth-doctor.

As always, Eric you're doing a great job responding point by point to some challenging detail.

I've got a long snowy road-trip now, so I might be out for a couple of days.

Peace,
